Sauvignon blanc is widely grown in France's Loire Valley
and is proving to be one of Australia's most popular
varieties, no doubt due to its ability to produce fresh,
distinctive, easy-drinking dry whites that are the
perfect accompaniment to our climate and alfresco
lifestyle. It is also one of the key varieties in
Sauternes and Barsac, French districts renowned for
their botrytised sweet white wines. We also encourage
part of our sauvignon blanc vineyard to develop botrytis
and it is an important component of our Noble range.
